The team
Institutional Transaction Management -provides institutional lending deal management and support to customers as well as managing the IBM interface into the Loan Administration teams.They deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic, fast moving and collaborative team environment.
You will:
Support the establishment of the Institutional Transaction Management team: its processes, systems and interfaces with the Coverage, Risk Management and Loan Administration teams - this is an opportunity to help build a new team from the ground up!
More specifically your responsibilities will include:
- Manages the effective transition of processes and activities from the IBM Coverage teams to the Institutional Transaction Management Team during the establishment phase.
- Delivery of effective and efficient loan management and 'life of loan' support for IBM's institutional lending processes
- Direct liaison with customers in relation to the on-boarding of their loan transactions and on-going management requirements
- Contribute to the establishment and management of an effective SLA and performance reporting framework
- Identify (and mitigate) operational and compliance risks as well as opportunities for productivity and continuous improvement across the entire E2E Institutional Lending process
- Contribute to internal and external reporting requirements, including regulatory reporting to APRA
- Escalate and resolve loan execution issues in an accountable and timely manner
- Support the establishment of the Institutional Transaction Management team including new and improved processes, systems and interfaces
- Contribute to the TRANSFORM Program and other projects and BAU initiatives to continually improve customer outcomes through the effective delivery of loan execution and maintenance within IBM
- Identify and take accountability for delivering continuous improvement opportunities across the team and stakeholders
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Economics (Desirable)
- Demonstrable experience working with Institutional Lending processes and/or products within the financial services industry
- Commercially focused with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to form relationships with external and internal customers and become a trusted partner to the business
- Ability to collaborate with team members and contribute to a dynamic working environment , but also work effectively in an autonomous capacity
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organisational abilities
- Capacity to work in what could at times be a high pressure environment requiring tight timeframes
- A CAN do attitude! A strong customer service mentality and proactive approach to your day-to-day activities
- Compliance or Operational Risk experience as well as a basic understanding of legal documentation would be well regarded
