My client, a Leading Quantitative Hedge Fund based in London is seeking an extremely bright academic with a undergrad-MSc or PhD from a Top Tier university to join a collaborative and dynamic research and development team. The organization has a heavy focus on cutting edge and innovative technology, priding itself on its collegiate and research driven culture. The C++-C# developer will take a key role on high profile green-field projects focused on algorithmic trading and research. You will be involved in all aspects from data analysis, low level optimization, through to GUI design. You will be able to work with a high degree of autonomy and will utilize cutting-edge technologies. You will take control of the direction of your projects, and will also regularly interact with researchers and other technologists.
This is a great opportunity for a talented researcher-programmer to make that leap from academia, into the financial sector or alternatively for a senior candidate to move into a rapidly growing Hedge Fund with an excellent reputation in the market. The C#-C++ Developer, Leading UK Based Hedge Fund will have the following skill set:
• Experience in C# and-or C++
• SQL
• Unix
• Software architecture, core algorithms and data structures
• Excellent academic background
• Great communication skills
• Experience with scripting or functional programming languages would also be advantageous (Python, F#, Ocaml etc.)
The responsibilities for the C#-C++ Developer, Leading
UK Based Hedge Fund will include:
• Work in a collaborative and open environment on a wide range of different projects within overlapping team
• Design and development of next generation trading tools and strategies in C++ or C#
• Works alongside a highly collaborative team and be involved with the processing and analyzing of large data sets.
