My client is an established high frequency trading group that is building out a brand new team in Hong Kong and are seeking a talented and driven software engineer to join their team. You will participate in all aspects of a high frequency trading operation, offering the opportunity for a developer to gain experience developing trading strategies and writing automated trading technologies. My Client is looking for energetic and driven individuals with a strong background in Computer Science. Strong C-C++ programmers with experience in algorithms and computational sciences will have an advantage. You must also have familiarity with Linux-UNIX. Responsibilities range from developing trading strategies, to building infrastructure and research tools. It is an exciting project, suitable for a driven and talented developer looking to make the next step in their career.
The ideal Skill Set for Junior C-C++ Quantitative Developer-Software Engineer
-Strong C-C++
-Experience with Unix-Linux
-Experience with a scripting language, Python-Ruby-Perl
-Strong background in Math and Statistics
-Computer Science or Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters)
-Strong communication skills
-Driven, self motivated attitude.
