C/C++ Software Architect/Developer –High Performance Market Access Team – NYC – recruitment

My client is a Leading US Investment Bank with an excellent reputation for being at the forefront of cutting edge electronic trading technology. With a multimillion dollar investment in the electronic trading space, the team is looking to expand as we move in to 2012. The team is seeking a senior C/C++ developer/architect to join the Market Access team based in New York. This is a fast paced, challenging team of highly experienced technologists and you will be expected to have very strong prior front office experience. This is a senior role and from the outset you will be given full responsibility of building their high performance market connectivity for their arbitrage and volatility trading teams. You will work closely with traders and sales teams, using your technical expertise build extremely sophisticated systems and achieve the lowest latency possible. The ideal candidate will not only have superior C/C++/networking experience, but you will have strong communication skills and the ability to work very closely with various front office users.
