My client is an innovative and successful Global Financial Analytics Firm, with a significant and exciting growth plan ahead for 2012/2013. The firm is currently investing millions of dollars in designing a huge suite of systems and platforms completely from scratch and they have a huge focus on cutting edge technology, open source and high performance computing. This opportunity is to join a small and innovative team responsible for the design of a scalable, low latency, real time back testing system. Your role will heavily focus on designing infrastructure using high performance computing techniques (SSE, GPGPU, map reduce). The team is ideally seeking a junior/mid level candidate who is looking to join a challenging team and face a steep learning curve. Ideally you will have a financial background and awareness of the markets and different financial products, however this is not necessarily a pre-requisite and the team will also consider candidates who have backgrounds in fields such as research, consumer electronics, gaming, internet technology etc. You will need to be capable of taking ownership of highly complex problems and drive yourself and others to define and implement solutions in a time-critical manner.

- Join a small and focused team of highly experienced and talented technologists responsible for the design of a scalable, low latency, real-time back testing system
- Introduce cutting edge high performance computing techniques
- Design and development of infrastructure (C++, C#, .Net, WCF)
- Work closely with clients/end users
