C++/C#/GUI Developer – High Frequency Trading Team – Boutique Hedge Fund – Singapore recruitment

My client is a Boutique Hedge Fund firm based in Singapore who are fast becoming best known for its outstanding profits in addition to its fantastic product performance. The firm has a great focus on cutting edge technology, and is home to some of the Asia’s most forward thinking technology systems and platforms. Since it’s formation 3 years back my client has grown at an outstanding rate and thus they are now looking to bring on board an exceptional C++/C#/GUI Software Developer to the team. The successful candidate will join a small but very dynamic group of developers, bringing highly technical knowledge to the team that enables them to contribute in all phases of a product’s life cycle from initial design/concept to its final implementation. The candidate will join a small team of developers and look to drive a number of development initiatives forward, having a key input in developing aspects of the high-frequency trading server. Being in a smaller team of developers the exceptional developer will be integral to all dimensions of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), however, the role also enables the successful candidate to report directly to the senior partners in Asia, thus, gaining unbeatable exposure to the business side of the firm also and the global markets.

C++/C#/GUI Developer - High Frequency Trading Team - Boutique Hedge Fund - Singapore requires the following skill-set;

• Exceptional C++ programming skills

• Secondary programming in C#/GUI

• High Frequency

• STL/Boost

• Perl/Python

• Multithreaded/Low Latency/Real-time systems and programming

• Solid architectural knowledge

• Analytical/Problem-solving

• Design and implementation

• Hands-on and self-motivated

• PhD (e.g. Computer Science/Electrical Engineering etc) – Top Level University

Responsibilitise for C++/C#/GUI Developer - High Frequency Trading Team - Boutique Hedge Fund - Singapore

• Participation in all aspects of SDLC

• Sharp Bright – Ability to adapt to market activity quickly and implement appropriate initiatives

• Strong architectural knowledge for scalability/availability/consistency, detailed design

• Deployment and ongoing maintenance, support and continual enhancement

• Desire to work in High Frequency Field

• Report to Senior Partners/Head Traders
