CCP Risk Analyst recruitment
This is a newly created position following the launch of a Central Counterparty (CCP) Risk Rating service. This will be a global programme which will establish risk elimination and operational criteria against which CCPs will be assessed.
The successful applicant will drive recruitment and training of senior and junior analysts. You will also be responsible for: - Preparing questionnaires designed to obtain information by which CCPs can be assessed for each individual risk identified within the methodology - Undertaking risk assessments/ratings on CCPs, including due diligence visits - Managing production of all required CCP risk rating reports - Managing the relationship with support banks and CCPs - Undertaking research on derivative markets to support the development of information services - Helping marketing of the risk rating service
You should have previously worked within a clearing house or CCP in a team leader/management position and have extensive knowledge of cash, derivatives, swaps and commodity clearing practices. Ideally you will also understand risk models utilised by Clearing Houses/CCPs including VaR principles.
