CDO Fund Accountant
Major international Bank requires CDO focus Fund Accounting specialist to join their expanding Surrey based office.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities focus on the portfolio administration production environment and include, but are not limited to:
- Creating and reviewing of daily Calculation Agent and Net Asset Value reports.
- Verification of deal and security level information to ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Detailed analysis of portfolio and security level data and trends.
- Review and interpret securitization documents.
- Provide prompt and accurate customer service.
- Partner with external and internal customer and troubleshoot or improve production process issues.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Training and mentoring junior level staff and production review.
- Processing money movements associated with investor funding or payments.
- Participate in development of risk management controls by helping to develop processes, procedures, and controls (This includes all tasks associated with future products and service releases, which include data, reporting, processing, user acceptance testing, and review).
- Participate in specific tasks associated with any needed system enhancement and/or system controls related to new products and services.
- Participate in writing/updating Standard Operating Procedures as needed, developing training curriculum, product development, and requirements idntification.
Basic Qualifications
- Previous experience in financial services, accounting or analytical analysis.
- Strong verbal communications skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft. Strong excel and math skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Skills
- Fund accounting experience.
- CDO experience.
- Excel and Access knowledge
