CDS Sales / Strategy specialist

Leading global electronic buy side institution based in London is looking to add two sales / strategy specialists to their Credit team. My client is at the forefront of electronic sales and technology, international reach, a very strong presence globally within credit and CDS particularly. My client are also in a stable and expanding position within the market place.

The chosen candidate will be a key decision-maker in driving the CDS business forwards with buy side clients located globally. This is a strategic position requiring excellent CDS product knowledge and expertise for your experience level. Both roles require comfort in dealing with buy side institutions located globally (explaining trade ideas, driving the electronic business forwards).

The role:
• You will work closely with the Head of Specialist Sales / CDS Product Manager in order to:

  1. Develop the CDS sales strategy for Europe

  2. Build and develop excellent relationships both internally and with the European buy side CDS clients

  3. Identify and onboard new accounts, on-board and manage buy side CDS relationships

  4. Become the key person for Credit and CDS enquiries both internally and externally

  5. Support and contribute to the creation, preparation and delivery of reports/ presentations/ product demonstrations etc for Credit and CDS

  6. Keep up to date with market data and competitiors


Requirements:

• Excellent CDS and Credit product and market knowledge
• A thorough understanding of electronic sales, trading, markets and competitors
• Ability to drive, support, and contribute to the sales and strategy for the Credit and CDS markets in Europe
• Confidence in dealing with buy side institutions
• Must have market knowledge, interest, and experience in the Credit, CDS and electronics industry
