CDS Trader recruitment
Candidates must have hand on direct experience with CDS trading.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Sales team to execute risk reductions ‘ sessions’
- Meet or exceed annual targets
- Proactively manage existing Sell Side client base to result in additional asset class adoption and / or additional revenue
- Effectively and efficiently manage the Sell Side territory via new names planning, prospecting, proposals, presentations, contract negotiations and closing
- Leverage Sell Side existing relationships and prospecting to further the goals of the
- Effectively communicate value proposition and differentiators to prospects
- Represent the company, its solution and success to prospects, customers and partners
- Update CRM on sales process progression
- Prepare and present quarterly account plans to senior management
- Fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business
Requirements
- Experience of managing or assisting in the management of CDS credit trading books, risk systems, p/l reporting
- Good understanding of CDS and their mechanics.
- Strong educational background
- Good understanding of the Financial Services, the component asset classes, risk and regulatory landscape
- Knowledge of the Sell Side’s trade-to-settlement workflows across asset classes
- Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Service oriented, adaptable and resilient
- Results oriented with personal accountability
- Excellent attention to detail, quality and control
- Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required
