CDU: Business Process Architect recruitment

Job Description 

 ROLE SUMMARY:

Contract Data Utility (CDU) is a new Operating Model, Workflow and Database to store key attributes extracted from legal documents (e.g. ISDAs and CSAs).  A key driver for the programme currently is to deliver mandatory attributes to enable optimised RWA modelling.  The CDU programme resides within the Reference Data Program, in our investment banking finance division.  The Business Process Architecture team will be responsible for delivering Target Process Model for the Contract Data Utility, work with project teams on target process flows and identifying process changes to ensure process improvement through redesign.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

As a Business Process Architect, you will be expected to deliver value by successfully combining solid business architecture techniques with financial services knowledge and demonstrating a clear understanding of business processes and procedures for Contract Data Utility.

The key Business Process Architect roles and responsibilities are:

-- Develop approach, plan and resource requirements for Process Model work stream

-- Develop and Maintain CDU Process Model Catalogue including stakeholder approval

-- Create SIPOC (Supplier - Inputs - Processes - Outputs - Customers) diagram and Target Model Processes

-- Provide directions and support implementation of target process model delivery with project teams including assisting in solution design

-- Work closely with IT Architecture team for service-oriented architecture design of services

-- Assist the Data Quality Team in implementation and integration of Target Process Model in day-to-day production activities

-- Contribute in strategy and roadmap discussions with the Change delivery teams

-- Contribute in resolution and escalation of process design issues

-- Assist and contribute in the organizational governance work stream

-- Provide work stream status reporting, raise risks/issues, track assumptions, dependencies

-- Provide standards and training of process flow creation

-- Establish strong relationships with functions and businesses throughout IB

-- Be an advocate of Contract Data Utility target state and clear communicate the program mission and vision to various stakeholders 

 Qualifications 

 TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:

-- Good knowledge of front-to-back investment banking business processes

-- Good knowledge of legal agreements

-- Extensive experience of designing and reengineering business processes

-- Experience working with Process Models in the Financial Services Industry

-- Experience in creating and enforcing process standards

-- Six Sigma practitioner

-- iGrafx skills

-- Strong ability to convey and report clearly, accurately, and concisely through written and verbal communication

-- Successful track record of taking ownership and resolution of tasks and issues

-- Excellent leadership, relationship and interpersonal skills

-- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem solving skills

-- Timely escalation of program issues and risks

-- Self-motivated, driven and task oriented

-- Worked in Change Management, Project / Program environment, and understands SDLC

-- Exposure to Data Architecture

-- Experience in project reporting
