CDU Business Project Manager recruitment

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

Business Project Managers are expected to take full end-to-end responsibility for programs. They may manage multiple projects and multiple teams simultaneously as delivery progresses towards the target operating model.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

Trainer Requirements:

•Develop and Maintain a Training Plan aligned to the overall CDU Project Plan

•Define (in collaboration with Legal SME), and Maintain all training materials, manuals and policy documents

•Rationalize and Delineate the existing manuals and policy documents used, within the CDU Project, and by LCD,  which will be of strategic relevance to the CDU Platform going forward

•Arrange, Conduct and Lead all training workshops and activities

•Identify and develop necessary use cases to be used as part of any training workshops

•Participate in, and contribute to, the CDU Vendor selection process

•Assume responsibility for developing expertise across various processes and systems involved in the E2E CDU platform ie. From scope identification/document sourcing to Algo reconciliation/downstream data consumption and reporting

DQU Assistant Management:

•Assist in oversight of daily operations and enforcing a robust control environment

•Lead and execute control change priorities/improvement plans

•Develop strategy to monitor and measure compliance on established internal controls

•Provide People leadership and development

•Provide overall support to CDU stakeholders and participants

•Interface with and manage CDU vendors

•Familiarity with designing and maintaining metrics and risk reporting

•Develop and manage a structured framework around Change, Control, and Metrics

•Background in enforcing globally consistent reference data practices and processes.

•Ensure delivery of CDU Project deliverables

•Provide Subject Matter Expertise to the overall CDU Project

This role aligns to the CDU Program within the Reference Data Organization of the CFO. The primary mission of the Contract Data Utility (CDU) Program is to enable CS to digitize agreement data from paper contracts which will improve trade pricing, collateral, capital and counterparty credit risk management through the establishment of an enterprise golden source for agreements, available for distribution to all consumers on demand.  The immediate business imperative is to mitigate the impact of increased capital charges on increased Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) as CS adheres to Basel 3 regulations on Jan 1, 2013.  CDU Phase I entail the digitizing of the ISDA and CSA agreement documentation for an initial set of counterparties, prioritized by RWA held.

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:

Essential

Substantial experience in training and managing teams in a data management space within the financial services/investment banking industry

Project Program Management

People Leadership skills

Experience in defining and leading project approaches and plans

Experience with managing and communicating project statuses, risks, resource utilization, budgets, BOW prioritization IT spend

Experience in leading similar Projects

Tools:

MS Office Products: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MicrosoftProject

Preferred/Good to Have:

Understanding of legal contract data interpretation, and experience with related data capture environments

Experience/familiarity with Framesoft, DMMS, Insight, Algo, Adsensa Wordsensa, Orchestra Networks
