This is a 6 month temporary position at 40 hours per week. JOB DESCRIPTION The Manufacturing Science and Technology MST group currently has a position open for manufacturing support of the flu cell culture FCC process. The candidate will provide technical support for the upstream cell culture portion of the process to the bulk manufacturing team. The successful candidate will perform activities including: Manufacturing on-floor technical support and troubleshooting off hours as necessary Deviation investigation and technical assessment Collection, organization, trending, and analysis of GMP manufacturing data Technical protocol generation, study execution, data analysis, and summary report generation related to technical studies executed in direct support of GMP activities The candidate should be able to work independently and in a multifunctional team with members from manufacturing, QA and QC. Required Skills Experience Aseptic operations experience with biosafety level 2 agents preferred Working knowledge of upstream unit operations including Wave bioreactors, stirred tank bioreactors, disc stack centrifugation, and tangential flow filtration Experience working with mammalian cell cultures in a GMP environment Desirable Skills Experience Statistical experiment design methodologies DOE and multivariate analysis techniques Process validation and aseptic simulation GMP production of vaccine products Familiarity with Delta V and/or Pi data historian Education BS Science or Engineering and 3+ years of experience MS Science or Engineering and 2+ years of experience For immediate consideration, click the "Apply Now! button, or refer a friend by clicking the "E-mail this job" link provided.
