An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cell Leader with our client who is an established Automotive manufacturing company.

Through diversity and change our client has become a progressive and successful First Tier manufacturing company producing Body-in-White components and assemblies. As a result of increased demand, they now have a vacancy for a Cell Leader.

 

Committed to adopting best practice and recognising the opportunity for improved competitiveness, they are now looking for a Cell Leader to join their team within the weld area.

 

The role:

The position will require you to manage associates within your zone ensuring they are working to the required rates and standards whilst maintaining Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to monitor absence, undertake stock control (within the cell), update personnel performance records, monitor skills matrices for the associates within the cell, monitor robot cycle times and manage the 5s within the cell.

 

The Person:

A Self-starter who is capable of leading a team, you will have experience gained in a Body-in-White Automotive environment. You will possess the following skills/experience:

·         BIW experience (Welding process)

·         An understanding of standard production documents (Production sheets, manufacturing Operating Processes)

·         Awareness of HS requirements within a production environment

·         Capability to train and coach associates

Ideally, you will have a practical understanding of fundamental manufacturing philosophies (5s, 7 wastes) and have a Welding background with knowledge of welding parameters and inspection weld test requirements.

 

 

 

The Package:

Competitive Salary (upto £18,500)
