Central Compliance Training Manager

The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for assessing and monitoring risks across Macquarie. This includes market and liquidity risk, credit risk, compliance risk and operational risk. RMG personnel liaise closely with all operating areas to ensure risks are understood and properly managed.

Intended Experience for this position :

3+ years of training experience (either locally or outside of the US) within the financial services industry or securities compliance function preferred.

Key high level training responsibilities :

· Deliver new hire training and declarations, including tracking and follow-up

· Develop new training, awareness messages and compliance related education

· Analyze risk assessments and coordinate with colleagues to enhance effective training needs analysis

· Incorporate local training requirements into the Global Training Plan initiative

· Conduct in-person training courses

· Advise and train other trainers

Additional "Conflicts" related oversight to include :

· Monitoring of Gifts and Entertainment and

· Ad hoc quality and assurance testing

Skills and attributes:

· Demonstrate effective and strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

· Formulate and deliver high quality results to internal customers, colleagues and senior management
