Intern Job Title: Centralized Security Intern Location: Littleton, CO Internship Duration: June 4, 2012 ? August 31, 2012 Targeted Majors/Degrees: Electrical Engineer and Cyber Security and Telecommunications Position Summary: In this internship you will gain hands on experience with security training, incident response, policy and procedure creation and editing, as well as compliance and security testing/analysis around authentication. You will have the opportunity to develop reusable processes for monitoring and managing in the areas where you are engaged. Support other ongoing security efforts and work on various projects. Department: This position will work in the Centralized Security department. This team contributes to tw telecom?s success by being responsible for security of tw telecom. Roles and responsibilities include the vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, research, and evaluation of security solutions for both customers and infrastructure. This group is also responsibility for getting security policy, procedures and guidelines.
