Mandatory Requirements:
- Diploma in Children's Services (or higher qualification)
- Anaphylaxis, First Aid Training
- Working with Children Check, Police Check
- Previous experience as a Centre Director
- Sound knowledge of the industry
- Strong leadership qualities, to lead a large team
- Demonstrated ability effectively communicating with children, parents and staff
- Experience with financial budgeting
- Strong problem solving skills
The role: Centre Director required to lead a large team of 40 staff in a busy, 140 place centre. Your role will be focussed on spending time in the rooms, communicating with the parents and ensuring that all staff are happy and performing well in their roles. You will have adequate administration support in the room and a great, supportive team of staff around you. The ideal candidate will have extensive Director experience in a large centre, excellent people skills, a sound knowledge of financial budgeting and the ability to be flexible with working hours.
The centre: 140 place centre with 6 rooms and 40 staff, incorporating large spacious indoor and outdoor spaces. This is a beautiful multicultural centre, that places a strong emphasis on the individual development, needs and interests of each child and fosters strong relationships with the parents, families and community.
