CEO role – ECM corporate finance recruitment
The ideal candidate would come from a Corporate Finance background and an individual who can demonstrate that they have generated and originated successfully ECM deals.
The CEO will have had exposure to :-
- Brokerage
- Advisory
- ECM is essential
- Mining/Gas and Oil
- Originating deals in the CIS region.
The CEO will be accountable for the performance of investment portfolios for my client and the overall organisation on a day-to-day basis. This will involve overseeing organisation operations to ensure operational effectiveness, quality, service, adherence to timeframes and cost effective management of resources to ensure the Banks objectives and targets are achieved, this small but leading Investment Bank whose core business is based in Kazakhstan are involved in Corporate Finance (ECM, DCM, advisory, MA) and in Brokerage operations (Sales/Trading/Research). It has a FSA authorised office in London and is member of the LSE. It has an excellent research team who focus on Central Asia and a very strong brand name in Kazakhstan.
The successful individual will be one who has a roller deck of clients bringing new business in the form of corporate finance into the business. The successful individual will be required to have exposure in CIS countries a Russian speaker would be preferred but it is Not essential.
The ideal individual will be required to plans, prioritise, control, integrate and evaluate the work of all departments to ensure that operations and services comply with the policies and strategic direction set by the Board of Directors.
They will be required to identify investment opportunities, brings those which are appropriate to the Board and/or its committees; and facilitates discussion and deliberation.
Strong business development skills,

Ability to build development costs and budgeting
Ability to represent the organisation at the highest level
Strong judgement and decision-making skills
Experience and Education
A Master's Degree or a professional qualification, for example, CFA, ACA.
Minimum of 15 years' experience with at least 10 years in an investment role in a private equity or similar investment firm focus Corporate Finance originating deals within ECM side of the business.
Could be based in CIS region but must have had at least 5 years international investment experience in markets CIS region.
