Cerner Program Manager – Pasadena, 10 month
Job Description:
The Technical Program Manager will manage the Cerner Lab Release in a Box Program Technical track. They manage the Cerner Millennium and CoPath Plus technical project upgrades utilizing proprietary Client processes working with internal infrastructure teams and external vendors. They also manage supply and demand to ensure adequate resources are available and delivery commitments are met. They act as the primary interface for the technical deployments, issue resolution management, technical plans/documentation, manage timelines, status reports, statistics and lessons learned for technical risk mitigation.
Skill Set:
Top 3-5 required skills:
Cerner Experience, Healthcare Project Management, Technical Infrastructure Project Management experience
Top 3-5 daily responsibilities: Working with Release manager and technical project teams to upgrade system infrastructure in support of Cerner application code upgrades
Type of background you are looking for: Healthcare and Technical Infrastructure experience working with Oracle, WebSphere MQ, HA, and DR environments
Educational requirements:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree, PMP preferred
