Certified Behavior Analyst BCaBA- Level 3
- Directs program participant contact in effecting behavioral change, primarily in the area of activities of daily living, behavior management and social skills.
- Works with supervisors in the development, implementation, maintenance, and generalization of behavioral change. Maintains the use of least restrictive treatment guidelines in the implementation of Behavioral Techniques.
- Provides Behavioral Therapy and Active Treatment programming in the residence job site, and within the community on an individual or group basis.
- Consults with staff, insurance providers, lawyers, service providers post-discharge, and family on treatment recommendations and progress. Participates in family education and therapy as needed.
- Participates in treatment planning with the trans-disciplinary team and attends pre-admission meetings as requested. Serves as a member on the rehabilitation team.
- Ensures evaluation, progress, and discharge reports on each program participant are provided in a timely manner. Completes daily billing summaries on a timely basis.
- Assists in coordination of behavioral programming within all living settings, community settings, and vocational sites as necessary.
- Consults with and/or trains staff in behavioral techniques.
- Maintains and fosters relations with case managers and referral agents; lobbies on behalf of individuals receiving services and Network as appropriate.
- Maintains and fosters relations with individuals receiving services, families and guardians; implements individual’s satisfaction enhancement plans as appropriate.
- Oversees program quality enhancement and develops individual program plans; coordinates Network standards, licensing requirements and individuals supported needs; reviews and submits incident reports.
- Implements program incident management protocols; ensures timely incident reporting and implementation of corrective action.
- Oversees program implementation of health and safety programs for individuals receiving services and employees.
- Maintains program compliance with Network and regulatory standards for clean, neat, safe living and working environments; assures pleasant, age-appropriate, well-decorated home-like residential living environments; and notifies maintenance personnel of items requiring attention.
- Provides leadership including direct supervision of Program Coordinators, Home Managers, and Direct Support Professionals; implements Network employee practices; recommends and assists with involuntary terminations and written warnings; provides employee orientation and training.
- Maintains licensing and compliance for program services and supports; assures timely and accurate program documentation; implements Network compliance plan; reviews correction orders; and implements compliance plans.
- Ensures adherence to accreditation standards and ethics of confidentiality.
- Performs other related duties and activities as required.
- Bachelor degree in human service field and one year experience working with special populations in crisis intervention, staff training and development.
- Must be Board Certfied as a Behavior Analyst. We are currently only looking for a BCaBA, level 3.
- Two to three years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred.
