Job Description
LOCATION WILL BE IN WINSTON SALEM NC
To coordinate and assist the provider to ensure quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population.
Certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by American Medical Technologists or certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants is required. WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 months experience in a medical environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to read, understand, and respond to instructions: effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills. Skills in establishing and maintaining an effective relationship with patients and families, physicians, practice management and staff, and the public. Strong organizational skills, ability to adhere to deadlines and protocol. Ability to work under pressure and react calmly and effectively in emergency/difficult situations. Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment procedures and protocols. Ability to learn or have knowledge of applicable governmental regulations and protocols. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, multitask environment with flexibility as needed. Ability to be a team player or take initiative. Internal Posting Date 3/21/2012-3/26/2012
Work Schedule
Part time; 16 hours week as needed weekdays as well as weekends. Must work a minimum of 2 shifts a month.
