CFO – Russia recruitment
KEY MANGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial submissions in respect of all Russia’s investments (including accounting, budgeting, tax planning, audit, cash forecasting and cash management).
• Ensure correct accounting for: intra-group trading; holding company related transactions; acquisitions and goodwill.
• Ensure Balance Sheet, Finance procedural and process reviews undertaken on a regular basis to ensure these continue to meet the changing needs of the Russian businesses.
• Oversee prompt production and publication of monthly internal financial reports in accordance with group monthly reporting timetable.
• Oversee and deliver statutory financial reports in compliance with external reporting requirements for all Russian legal entities.
• Oversee preparation and administration of Russian annual operating and capital budgets.
• Management of tax compliance including corporation tax, VAT, Income Tax and applicable returns.
• Oversee delivery and interpretation of aged debt analysis
• Lead and develop a knowledgable and motivated Russian Finance team which ensures its processes integrate with other business procedures and provides a value added service to those businesses.
• To provide direction and oversight on all aspects of:
- Balance Sheet Management Reconciliations
- Year End Audit / Management of relationship with external auditors
- Russian Statutory VAT Accounting
- Monthly Management Reporting
- General Business Insurance
- Provision of Support to European CFO
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS
• Acquisition integration experience
• Coming from international working environment
• Strong technical accountant with proven track record of Balance Sheet Management
• Previous role with responsibility for accounting and corporate financial reporting.
• Professional business qualification (ACCA)
• At least 7 years post qualification experience
• Knowledge of Russian GAAP (US GAAP optional)
