CFO - Chief Financial Officer - Controller - CPA - Finance Controller - Public Accountant

If you are a CFO with a CPA please read on!

What you need for this position:

-Must have at least 7+ years working in accounting / finance
-Must have CPA
-Must have real estate or property management / Construction industry exp.
-Must have experience in affordable housing, HUD, Low Income Housing Tax credit, or section 8 housing.
-Must have experience in accounting and its functions, details of financial statements and their consolidations, variance analysis, GAAP and tax differences, researching technical accounting transactions, and preparation and review of annual work papers.

What you'll be doing:

-Supervise accounting staff, coordinate work loads and special projects
-Prepare monthly consolidated financials for corporate entity and its affiliates for monthly review by executive offices.
-Maintain monthly closing processes, financial statement preparation by accounting team.
-Confirm/coordinate fees on Master Fee Schedule are paid timely and updated as new acquisitions closed.
-Read all Private Placement Memorandums (PPM) and confirm we have all documents, fees added to schedules, investor distributions set up, etc. Prepare a summary of PPM.
-Manage bank reconciliation accountant and all adjustments made
