CFO – Commodities – Singapore recruitment
Job Requirements:
Candidate needs to know commodities, ideally shoud have some Sugar experience.
Good personality, be culturally sensitive
Candidate needs to be a good leader and shoul have minimum 12 years of experience
Managing 10 people who are all very independent
Understand how commodities trading works
Involved in some MA, they use a small IB but the CFO is heavily involved
They use ITAS for their system
Company background:
Finance team is 6 including a Treasurer, a temp and current CFO who is looking to retire.
They do the companies finance for their Netherlands, LDN, US, China locations – Kees manages it all.
They trade coffee, coal and rubber
Office made up of Indonesians, SG, Malaysian, German, British – very multi cultural
Senior team, high calibre of people, they are growing coal, coffee (1st season) – great results, also looking at sugar and investing into rubber plantations
