CFO/ Director/ Executive Director
Our client is a real estate subsidiary of a German Investor , with total assets of approximately EUR 2 billion , an annual turnover of more than EUR 500 million. The main tasks include managing the company's own residential and commercial real estate as well as national and international activities in project development, project implementation , lease management and real estate consulting, primarily for the parent company .
Due to the positive business development in the area of the property and of the great value of this division within the group, a new business area will be established. Against this background, our client, in Lower Saxony is in search of a manager to build out the Structured property finance business and work together with Investors and insurance group willing to invest into Commercial Real Estate Credit.
The tasks :
• Responsible for the structuring of real estate finance within the company (Reporting directly to the Board)
• Leading involvement in portfolio analysis and scenario modeling for the development of various equity and debt structures for national and international real estate transactions, taking into account various complex economic , legal and tax aspects
• Personal responsibility for testing and evaluation of projects and capital structures under consideration of the asset management strategy and profitability calculations and cash flow considerations in close cooperation with the departments of the company and the Group departments .
• Development of transaction structures, including presentation of these designs within the company to senior management, the Board and the Group Executive Board
• Creation and Development of term sheets and brochures
• Reporting and ad hoc analyzes
The requirement profile
• Above-average successfully completed university degree
• Minimum of four to seven years relevant professional experience in the analysis of structured real estate financing and / or the active management of real estate capital markets transactions with a bank, private equity firms , funds or real estate company ( investor or developer in the departments of Finance or Treasury)
• Very good knowledge in the areas of real estate finance , accounting and the common transaction structures (portfolio and individual property level , asset and share deals , sale and leaseback , fund structures , etc.) and current real estate capital market skills are required
• Self- acting , precise, dedicated person with above average communication and negotiation skills as well as professional and competent appearance
• Reliable, team awareness, resilience, client orientation , loyalty
• Fluency in English, spoken and written, is essential
