A LEADING FINANCIAL INSTITUTION
Position Description:
My client is the JV arm of a leading European Investment Bank that has a long and successful track record in China. The CFO will oversee all financial and management reporting for the JV ensuring reporting satisfies external and internal needs together with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Oversee all:
- financial reporting
- management reporting and analysis
- regulatory reporting
- Assist with preparation of annual forecasts and budgets
- Preparation for annual general meetings and financial reporting to the Board
- Preparation of annual accounts and reports
- Monitor cash flow and funding
- Manage the routine work in the accounting department such as reimbursement, monthly payroll, payments, the company's accounting system and annual audit
- Build and maintain a good relationship with local authorities such as CSRC, Tax, Banks and CPA firms
Experience Required
- At least 10 years of post qualification financial control experience
- At least 5 years experience within a similar institution
- Tax planning experience
- Financial modelling skills
- Degree holder with PRC CPA qualification
- CSRC license for working in a securities company (or the ability to pass such soon after joining)

- Business acumen (technical knowledge of Finance Accounting, Audit Corporate Governance)
- Interpersonal sensitivity - ability to deal with people from different cultures
- Commercial/Organisational Awareness
- Leadership skills
- Problem Solving/Analytical ability
- Strong communication skills
- Languages - English is essential
