CFO recruitment
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing entire back-office and compliance function
 - Reconciling positions, cash and NAV on a daily basis
 - Reviewing administrators stat profiles, investor account statements and allocations
 - Working with advisors to devise tax efficiency strategies (loss harvesting, wash sales)
 - Coordinate annual audit, answer audit related questions, draft and review annual audited financial statements
 - Oversee all compliance aspects of a Registered Investment Advisor
 - Record keeping of Management Company expenses in Quickbooks
 - Reviewing tax return filings, quarterly tax estimates, year end audit and K-1s
 - Evaluating the firm’s overall financial needs and creating the annual operating budget for the business
 
Suggested Background:
- Prior fund experience
 - Audit experience, preferably with national firm
 
Suggested Competencies:
- Communicates well both verbally and in writing
 - Strong analytical and quantitative skills
 - Keeps up with changing industry best practices
 - Ability to adapt quickly and successfully in a dynamic business environment
