Providing strategic planning and insights to FGLB on how to increase revenues control costs. Consolidating financial strategic plan (3-5 years) in line with the bank's strategy.
Reviewing, approving and validating the budget control report, bank’s annual financial planning budgeting process. Preparing periodic budgets and forecasts.
Providing management with support in the development of the operating plan and consolidating financials for Capital and Investment proposals.
Developing and maintaining systems for prompt and accurate collection of financial and accounting information.
Submitting timely and accurate financial and regulatory reports , which should be in compliance with International Accounting Standards and Central bank regulations.
Providing management with MIS reports which provide trends and variance and analyzing these variances to resolve queries pertaining to the reports prepared.
Providing to the top management detailed analysis of profit / Cost Centers.
Strengthening controls/ accounting procedures over the General ledger and Profit and Loss accounts.
Maintaining healthy relationships with all investors (existing and potential) of the Bank.
Supervising daily key activities in the department and ensuring compliance of these activities.
Forecasting, consolidating and monitoring bank's financials, and reporting accurate management information reflecting business results and profitability (Preparing periodical budgets and forecasts).
Directing and overseeing the preparation of all financial regulatory reports and ensuring accuracy of these reports.
Overseeing development and implementation of financial systems, controls and policies; Working closely with and providing inputs for business planning
Ensuring achievement of PL targets and maximizing profitability for FGLB from all treasury activities within specified risk parameters and bank policies. Managing cost of funds to maximize profitability.
Providing training inputs to staff, evaluating performance and providing regular feedback, creating career paths and ensuring motivation of team members
