Promotes cosmetic sales for large retail store by providing excellent customer service and expert makeup artistry.
Duties:
* Promotes beauty products; explaining benefits of regular use.
* Demonstrates cosmetics by performing cosmetic make-overs; explaining features of products.
* Keeps customers informed; answer customers' questions.
* Helps advertising department by providing information regarding customer preferences; suggesting promotional ideas based on customer comments.
* Helps other departments by answering questions; responding to requests; recommending flattering cosmetics for apparel purchases.
* Keeps cosmetic and skin care products supplies ready by inventorying stock; requisitioning cosmetic products, replenishing displays.
* Maintains safe cosmetics counter by following skin care product and cosmetic application standards and procedures; complying with sanitation regulations.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
* Enhances cosmetics department and department store reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
