Change Management – Business Analyst recruitment
Role Summary:
We are currently looking for a CFO Change - EMEA Business Analyst to join the Disclosures Fair Value team based in London.
The role is mainly working with FROGs (Fair Value disclosures tool) book of work ensuring that change requests are aligned to the strategic target state defined by the Business. This role will involve working closely with FROGs PCIT, PC line, PC Accounting Assurance and CFO Change product/programme leads.
The role involves:
Business Analyst:
- Individual is responsible for applying their expert knowledge to support strategically aligned improvement initiatives in the FROGS environment
- Is responsible for providing expertise and specialist knowledge in support of all stages of data analysis and testing cycles.
- Gathering and documenting business requirements to define change requests added in the book of work including learning business processes and devising solutions to enhance controls and improve efficiencies.
- Liaising with IT to define and monitor IT system solutions to support business change.
- Producing test pack in agreement with the business and the book of work manager.
- Managing user testing and acceptance of process and system change.
- Assisting with weekly updates and communications. e.g. Regular updates and escalation of key issues and risks to the book of work manager. Management of project risks and issues to conclusion as agreed with book of work manager.
- Documenting procedures training, in conjunction with the line managers to support and control the new business processes and applications.
Qualifications to qualify, you must possess:
- Accounting background (professional qualifications).
- Understanding of Finance processes within Financial Accounting Product Control.
- Business Analysis skills within Finance / Investment Bank.
- Financial Accounting and/or Product Control line experience advantageous.
- Team player
- Strong interpersonal skills including experience in dealing across departments
- Confident and self motivated individual with a proactive approach
- Strong attention to detail, structured approach and good documentation skills
- Strong business analysis and problem solving skills are essential
- Delivery focused and highly motivated.
