Change Management Planning VP
An Investment Bank in London is now hiring for a senior Change Management Planning position. This is a newly created role and will be focused on supporting the Change Management Director in milestone and dependency management, as well as being involved in managing the top priority projects within the Investment Bank.
The main responsibilities of the role will be:
- Managing the overall plans for key project activities
- Aggregating plan data from all programs, projects and activities to develop a comprehensive plan which can be represented in a digestible way to stakeholders
- Driving active dependency management, tracking benefits, coordinating inputs from multiple departments and driving the development of the change management function
- Continuing communication management with project managers and senior stakeholders as to the status of activities.
The responsibilities of the planning role include:
SUPPORT
• Supporting the preparation of board/steering committee materials
• Developing and supporting the sign-off process for milestones and deliverables
• Setting-up planning processes and standards for the project portfolio
• Creating, executing and maintaining project plans
• Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project.
RESPONSE MANAGEMENT
• Assisting with developing and communicating the response plan
• Overseeing development of the response
• Assisting and preparation for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
REMEDIATION OVERSIGHT
• Capturing remediation activities
• Tracking commitments and managing issues and risks
• Drive remediation points to full closure and sign-off
• Supporting the CM Director in ensuring regulatory commitments are met.
REPORTING
• Providing regular and ad-hoc project reporting on milestones, benefits, dependencies and delivery statistics as requested by CM Director and senior management.
COMMUNICATION
• Facilitating stakeholder meetings and status meetings with project team effectively
• Keeping project team well informed of changes within the projects
• Deliver engaging, informative and well-organized presentations.
The successful appointee must be educated to degree level with significant project management experience in a leading consulting firm within the Financial Services industry or in an international Investment Bank. Candidates must also possess the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and display strong knowledge of front to back Investment Banking business processes.
You will have strong project planning skills, extensive analytical experience and clear experience in Programme Office work, such as project planning, risk and issue management and steering committee management.
