Role Purpose
Manage discrete projects on own with limited supervision or specific workstreams of more complex/critical projects, under supervision of a Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Scope, plan and manage the projects/workstreams, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting against the project plan and budget in line with agreed Programme governance
- Deputise for the Project Manager
- Perform and/or supervise the acquisition and analysis of data to identify business problems and opportunities
- Identify and evaluate project risks and issues, making recommendations on effective mitigation strategies and implementing as directed
- Maintain and develop knowledge of project methodologies and a professional network of contacts, sharing knowledge and best practice where appropriate to support continuous improvement
- Collaboration with others on Programme team, identifying internal / external resources required to deliver the project
- Coaching, teaching and training development
- Prepare and present professional reports/updates on project activities to Project Manager/Programme Manager
- Ongoing collaboration with key identified stakeholders, to facilitate delivery of MCRC
- Preparation and presentation of updates/spotlight papers to MCRC
- Formulate an action plan and prioritisation matrix for Upstream Risk Items
- Collation, preparation and progression of Business Risk Impact Assessments
- Fortnightly updating Mandatory Compliance Tracker and Chair of MCT/Upstream Risk meeting
- Ensure clear audit trail is present for movements on the Mandatory Compliance Tracker/Upstream Risk Items
- Challenge key stakeholders to ensure most efficient and effective use of resources for progress of Mandatory Changes.
Additional Requirement
There may be a requirement for travel within Ireland, UK and abroad.
Essential Skills and Experience Required
- Solid experience in change management and/or comprehensive knowledge of operations and related technology
- Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workloads and work on own initiative
- Proven ability to manage discrete projects with associated project milestones
- Sound knowledge of Project Management methodologies
- Proficient in use of analytical tools and structured analysis techniques
- Familiarity with process modelling, workshop facilitation and business analysis
- Competent use of Microsoft Office applications (including Microsoft Project Visio)

- Experience of working in Financial Services
- Experience of a range of project types and business areas
- Working towards/attainment of a relevant recognised formal qualification in Project Management
