Summary: Serve as a key resource on the IT team responsible for overseeing that day-to-day SOX and Change Management processes and Controls are adhered to. Operational Management SOX bull; Collaborate with process owners, SarbOx analysts, SarbOx consultants, and other experts to manage tasks. bull; Regularly test new or revised processes/controls to ensure they are operating effectively. bull; Obtain signoff from management that renders acceptance of the revised processes within each managerrsquo;s area of responsibility. bull; Apply COBIT and COSO frameworks to all documentation and remediation efforts. bull; Maintain a complete library of SarbOx project documentation. bull; Write and deliver training workshops, sessions, materials, and presentations to assist process owners, employees, and management with transition from old processes or controls to new ones. bull; Regularly report progress to management team, stakeholders and other parties. Strategy Planning bull; Work with senior management and/or the executive team to strategize and establish a core change schema that meets organization objectives and goals. bull; Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business and operations requirements and systems goals. bull; Perform detailed problem analyses and scenarios; make or implement recommendations to mitigate change risk and business impact. bull; Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions. bull; Develop methodologies/processes that support the monitoring of change control successes in areas targeted for improvement. bull; Develop timeframes for process changes in order to support company objectives and business goals. Acquisition Deployment bull; Assess change management requirements for deploying new or improved technologies, standards, practices, policies, and procedures, and apply them to the appropriate business activities. bull; Investigate and deploy software tools that track and support change management, as well as requests for change. Operational Management Change Management bull; Ensure that methodologies/processes are standardized and utilized for all forms of change. bull; Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modifying and/or enhancing change management processes. bull; Build an understanding of internal and external service level agreements/key performance indicators, and work to ensure they are minimally affected by changes. bull; Communicate change management procedures to senior managers; develop materials dedicated to end-user awareness of change issues.
