ANZ is seeking to appoint an experienced Change Manager to manage the delivery, and embed organisational change, across diverse and challenging environments. As a trusted advisor to the business, the Change Manager will partner with the business to enable benefits realisation through building the case for change, executing a change strategy, and enabling and assessing readiness of the organisation. The role will support the Markets Change Portfolio lead with the provision of change management services across the Markets Portfolio, building the need and acceptance of change management within an area that has had minimal exposure to Change Management practices in the past.
This is an important role managing the delivery of significant change management programs/projects of complexity with wide impacts, across multiple geographies. Engaging change networks to support organisational ownership for change, the successful applicant will actively support the Program/Project Director in successful delivery of the project/program. The Change Manager will demonstrate ANZ values and align culture to achieve business outcomes, adapting own behaviour to meet changing demands, fostering collaboration across teams/business units to remove barriers and managing resistance to change.
Reporting to the Change Portfolio Lead, Global Markets you will be accountable for:
- Assist with implementing a change management strategy in conjunction with the Change Portfolio Lead/Project Manager that addresses individual, team and organisational requirements, organisational obstacles, areas of risk and defined customer impacts
- Understand stakeholder needs and perceptions and provide input into the development of appropriate strategies for enabling and embedding project related change
- Assist with managing effective stakeholder engagement, maintaining consistent, clear and concise communications with the customer, including training delivery
- Work with the project team to ensure customer satisfaction with project deliverables
- Work with the customer to ensure that the change is embedded
- Assist in the assessment of change diagnostics to monitor change acceptance and effectiveness
- Actively support the change manager in engaging change networks in supporting organisational ownership for change, and the PD/PM in successful delivery of the project/program
- Work with change management peers to improve, develop and promote the change management profession
Displaying an in-depth understanding of the demand and capacity for change, you effectively manage stakeholder needs and perceptions to develop strategies to enable and embed change. Highly analytical, you exercise your solid judgement and critical thinking to make sound and timely decisions. Despite incomplete or ambiguous information, you carefully evaluate and draw sound conclusions, balancing opportunities and considering risk, to ensure change activity is optimised and aligned to broader ANZ priorities and constraints
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience and capability in the following:
- 3+ years organisational change management experience including 2 years general business experience
- Demonstrated management of change resources on a program/project(s), to execute change deliverables of the project
- Relevant Bachelors Degree and Change Management certification (e.g. Prosci, CMI)
- Working knowledge of change management activities and techniques
- Demonstrated sound understanding of project and change management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures
- Well developed written and verbal communication, facilitation, interpersonal and team working skills including a good level of influencing ability
- Broad understanding of specific (ANZ) domain areas impacted by the change
- Experience within Markets
