Change Manager
Collections Credit Solutions (CCS) assists Retail Banks customers in the management of their financial commitments by working towards a mutually agreeable payment solution. CCS sites are at Parramatta, NSW and Melbourne, VIC.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Program Manager you will support a project team in understanding and managing the impact of the implementation of a change, project or program. You may be accountable for all business change management activities across a project/program including delivery of communications and trainingand/or be part of a larger change management piece.
It is anticipated that management of a small team may be required dependent upon the needs of the business and the growth of this role.
What will success look like?
- You build relationships and develop initiatives to enhance delivery of change with key customers/stakeholders, across the retail debt management Community
- You drive collaboration across the banks project management community to champion key strategic processes (methodologies) throughout the business
- You manage programs of work across a varied portfolio, to achieve the Bank's strategic objectives through targeted and agreed outcomes
- You develop robust and achievable program and project plans to manage the delivery of quality project deliverables
- You balance schedule, cost and quality in reaching decisions relating to project/program delivery
- You manage resources including the prioritisation and allocation of available program resources
- You contribute to the determination of best-fit solutions, and provide recommendations based on the impact to Collectors, Customers and the Bank
- You research and document business processes (this will involve sitting with the business to understand their transactions/processes and products)
- You document Business Impact Assessments (assessing the change the project will impose on the business and other areas of the bank and define how those impacts will be managed)
- You manage or provide support to define/implement/analyse change readiness assessments, communications plan, benefit realisation, etc
- You provide input to programme/project issues and risks from a change management perspective
- You act as a role model by consistently displaying behaviours that encourage transparent and productive working relationships and a strong performance culture
- You act as an advocate of the change management methodology and champion collaboration between business units and the wider project community to obtain successful change implementation
What will help you succeed?
- You have proven experience and knowledge of project management methodologies (such as PMBOK, Prince2, etc)
- You have experience gained in a financial services/banking environment and preferably in a collections setting
- You have sound analytical skills and commercial acumen
- You have experience in the design and delivery of project, communications and related plans coupled with strong presentation skills
- You have well-developed stakeholder management/engagement skills and can build meaningful relationships and gain commitment from a diverse audience with competing interests
- You have significant experience in delivering change management initiativeson a project basis within a business unit
