Change Manager – Business Financial Control, Global Markets (12 Months Contract) recruitment

Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements for the implementation of source systems into the general ledger.
- Review of current state Accounting Rules and work with Subject Matter Experts in London and Hong Kong to agree a consistent set of globally applied accounting rules.
- Gap analysis between current state systems and processes and strategic deliverables.
- Assess impact and provide solutions to gaps identified.
- Full participation from design phase, testing to transition and implementation
- Actively participate in project planning and monitoring the progress of project according to the plan.
- Perform data sourcing (with the aid of Finance IT) on chosen source systems.
- Document user requirements for IT development
Requirements:
- Qualified CPA (or relevant post graduate qualification) preferred, with at least 4-6 years relevant experience.
- Minimum 4 years’ exposure to Product Control/Financial Control/Change Management preferred. This includes, risk and accounting processes, best practice guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- Sound knowledge of capital markets products, systems, control environment, accounting treatments and financial reporting
- Able to work under pressure in a dynamic, changing environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
