CHANGE MANAGER – EQUITY
A new program, Regulatory Reports Remediation, consisting of a multiple project streams, is rolling out in Asia Pacific. Program scope focus on technical aspects of the production of regulatory reports using a high number of applications and crossing this banks robust product suite.
You will take ownership of portions of this collaborate with a large global team to;
1. Increase automation rate in production of regulatory reports.
2. In turn, improve controls and reduce risks associated with regulatory report production.
3. Reduce 3rd party systems/ vendor expenses and IT cost by rationalizing the number of systems used for regulatory reporting
4. Adopt BAU vendor management process for vendor applications already in used.
5. Design interim IT support model for VBA macros and access database which are used in high risk reports.
6. Efficiency on NIL reports; empty files sent frequently to regulators to be decommissioned or change frequency (eg. daily report to monthly)
7. Regional role across 4 locations – and the equities and prime group predominantly
For your application to be successful you will have/be;
- 8 or more years of experience in investment banking Operations (middle office/ back office) in both [i] Operations BAU/ line role and/ or BA role – provided regulatory report support for at least 1 year. [ii] Operations change role/ project management
- Demonstrable experience aligned to Equities businesses. [i] Knowledge of Equities products and trade lifecycle process flows is essential. [ii] In tuned with market trends, business practices and regulatory requirements of the region.
- Technically savvy. [i]Worked effectively with IT teams (development, application support and infrastructure IT). [ii] Able to grasp technical specifications and logic in functional specification documents. [iii] Successfully partnered IT and influenced proposed technical solutions to meet business requirements. [iv] When needed, worked with IT to define technical solutions, workflow and system functionalities.
- Experience in chairing Working Groups Meetings with senior attendees.
- Worked effectively with different AP locations, culture, corporate level and departments to obtain required information to progress projects till completion.
- A delivery-focused and resourceful individual, willing to go the extra mile to ensure program phases are delivered on time and within budget. Track record of successful delivery; demonstrated value added in the process and to projects/ programs previously involved in.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Command in Asia Pacific local language would be an advantage but not compulsory.
