Change Manager – Exchange Traded Derivatives recruitment
The Change function is a critical element within the UBS Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) offering, working with Operations teams, the business, technology and other logistics areas to define the strategic direction and implement major change and process improvement initiatives to respond to the requirements of the business.
The successful candidate will lead the ETD Operations Change team reporting into the APAC Head of ETD and Collateral Change.
The quality of business change specialists is central to our ability to respond to the rapidly changing environment. Our Project managers/business analysts translate business issues and challenges into project solutions. They are responsible for the scoping, planning, execution and monitoring of projects.
Candidates will be involved with projects that support ETD. The candidate key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Manage projects throughout their lifecycle
- Develop positive working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Perform front to back analysis of business flows
- Document detailed business requirements by partnering with line subject matter experts
- Input into application and process design
- Liaise with related IT development teams
- Manage and maintain the relationships between IT and the operations line
- Co-ordinate user acceptance testing business readiness
- Provide status/risk reporting
In addition the candidate will be expected to demonstrate competencies under the following pillars
CLIENT
- Establish and maintain working relationship with Prime Brokerage, Business, Operations, IT users
- Actively develop and maintain a network of key issues related to projects, making periodic reports on progress, problems risks
ECONOMIC
- Demonstrate awareness of project management and business analysis best practices
- Ascend the product knowledge learning curve as quickly as possible
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Lead by example (including virtual teams)
- Work closely with all project stakeholders
- Function well as a member of a larger team
- Perform front to back analysis of business flows
- Document detailed business requirements by partnering with line subject matter experts
- Manage and maintain the relationships between IT and the operations line and develop positive working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Co-ordinate user acceptance testing business readiness
Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites:
- Detailed understanding of ETD products, markets, and processes
- Previous project management experience: ideally 4+ years and familiarity with project management lifecycles
- Strong communication skills both, written and oral
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team with limited supervision and in a fast paced environment while multi-tasking
- Productive experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Visio, etc)
- Good team player
