Essential Job Functions Change Manager Responsibilities Change Management is the process of planning, scheduling, communicating, and executing changes successfully to minimize the negative impact of change, maximize resource availability, and maintain service level objectives Review all changes in an effort to to minimize risk and impact to internal and external clients, and to provide a vehicle for communications, evaluation, approval, implementation, and measuring effectiveness of all changes. Support the management and administration of the Change Management Process Facilitate Change Control Review Board Attend the DSR meetings to report/review daily changes Attend the weekly Global Change Management Meetings Track all Change Requests that require approval Perform PIR with Change owner Maintain Update GCAR Keywords Maintain Update GCAR approvers Monitor changes with an unknown status Review all changes for appropriate Data and provide Change Manager Approval GCAR trouble shooting Produce Weekly GCAR Metrics Produce Monthly GCAR Metrics Ability to challenge IT Engineers in a professional manner Provide GCAR training to new hires Maintain the Account Change Management Procedure Coordinate all changes with the RDC Command Center staff Coordinate approvals for Dynamic Changes Work with Configuration Manager when applicable Monitor changes for Service Level Agreements that may be affected Challenge changes that may interrupt service Monitor changes to ensure corrdination between accounts LOS are taken into consideration Implement a Data Center Change Advisory Board Implement Availability Management Perform PIR review of changes from previous week, noting any problems/resolutions resulting from changes. Schedule/Reject changes after the review board as appropriate Implement a Technical Review Board when applicable Follow up on Failed Changes - ensure documentation and/or RCA is provided Implement Rfelease Management if applicablek Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, engineering, management information systems, computer science, or related field preferred Six or more years of quality assurance, engineering or management information systems experience Experience working with quality metrics and software industry metric data collection and analysis techniques Experience working with quality assurance principles and practices and software development methodologies such as Catalyst Experience working with standard software development methodology assessments, such as SEI/CMM or ISO 9000 Experience working with project management methodology Experience working with software test science and tools Other Qualifications Good organization and time management skills Communication skills to interact and present findings to team members, customers, management and support personnel Good analytical and problem solving skills Interpersonal skills for interacting with project and task team members Good personal computer and business solutions software skills Basic leadership skills to mentor less experienced quality assurance personnel Ability to handle activities on multiple projects and tasks within the same or different accounts Ability to work independently Ability to work in a team environment, even when remote support is required Ability to deal with and manage change Ability to complete assigned responsibilities in a given timeframe within a given budget Ability to handle multiple project and task responsibilities simultaneously and switch among them quickly to meet prioritized business needs Ability to independently generate presentations regarding quality assurance group activities and status, and present them to senior management, customers and development staff Willingness to travel Change Manager Skills: ITIL V3 Foundation certified Excellent Facilitation skills Excellent Organizational Skills Conflict Management Skills Database Administration Skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment IT Technical Knowledge a Plus Ability to train co-workers Ability to meet deadlines Basic knowledge of Lotus notes and Microsoft Excel Ability to multi task prioritize work assignments Ability to work independently or with minimal support Analytical and problem solving skills Organization skills Presentation Skills Time Management skills Team environment skills Written Communication Ability to collect metric data and perform analysis techniques Ability to meet deadines Create Quality Related Documentation
