Purpose of Role:
Responsible for the programme management of change for key clients. Manage stakeholders and activities through the full project lifecycle. Track and report on the progress of client change including the resolution/escalation of issues to ensure delivery stays on track.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Consistently apply the standard process, framework and governance model for the delivery of key client raised change programmes
• Log, track and manage all change in key client programmes
• Understand scope and complexity of client change requests
• Identify impacted teams/resources and ensure they are fully engaged in the change
• Ensure resources are clear of their roles responsibilities relevant to the change.
•Provide support and coaching where necessary
• Ensure client requirements are clearly understood and signed-off by all stakeholders
• Set-up and updating of project documentation; i.e. project plans, action logs, risk issue logs and change cost estimates
• Project status reporting
• Project closure and lessons learned, ensuring any identified remediation is actioned in a timely manner
• Record and track MI for individual items as part of the overall client change MI
• Identify and manage prioritisation clashes
• Determine project costs ensuring they are passed onto the client for approval
• Suggest and implement improvements to the Change delivery model
• Chair and facilitate project meetings
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Specific Qualifications/Skills:
• Project management (e.g. PRINCE2) preferred but not essential
Level of Education:
• IAQ qualification, BS/BA degree Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred but not essential.
Previous Level of Experience:
• Solid knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Proven experience in Asset Servicing, Accounting, Pricing and Project Management.
• Skills - interpersonal, numerical, problem-solving, analytical, etc Disposition - motivation, team skills, ability to work under pressure, etc
• Engagement and management of internal and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of the full project lifecycle and relevant documentation
• Extensive client management experience
• Experience in project planning
• Risk and issue management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels of the project from team members to project sponsor
• Track record of influencing and motivation of range of resources
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and professional with demanding clients at all times.
