Change Project Manager – Transfer Agency and Fund Accounting – Fund Manager recruitment

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected institutional fund manager in a role that offers a high level of autonomy and the ability to deliver through working with small, effective teams.

You will have delivered projects such as change of outsource provider, reviews, RFP’s, fund transitions or product launches in the Transfer Agency and Fund Accounting space.

Responsibilities:

- Managing projects throughout their lifecycles, including management of cross-functional project teams and third parties, in order to realise business benefits. A particular focus will be on delivering projects within the Fund Accounting/Transfer Agency.  The role also includes a degree of business analysis.

- Managing projects to budget and to plan and in accordance with the standard project governance guidelines.

- Building and managing project financial forecasts and expenses and compiling business cases.

- Preparing reports and delivering presentations to clients and senior management regarding project status, results and recommendations.

- Liaising with the relevant business units in order to accurately identify and document business requirements / needs and provide effective solutions in a timely and cost effective manner.  This includes evaluating and selecting solutions to complex business requirements and managing the translation of these requirements into functional specifications and robust business processes.

- Building strong, positive and effective working relationships with key stakeholders internal clients and third party suppliers/vendors.

- Liaising with external suppliers / vendors to ensure effective implementation of third party applications and outsourced services.

- Liaising with internal IT architecture, develop and support teams to ensure effective implementation of changes and enhancements to internal and third party systems.

- Managing and support the testing and implementation of system changes and business initiatives covering UAT and business process proving.
