Change/Business Analyst – Instrument Data recruitment

The Change Team is responsible for managing CTB (Change the Bank) projects within IB Operations. This role is within London Instrument Data Operations and reports to the global Instrument Change manager. The successful candidate will be expected to help promote and drive process and technology led change, and improvements relating to consumer experience of data, process efficiency, capacity and risk.

Key objectives of the role include:
- Act as Consumer Face-off to London stakeholders driving new requirements and prioritisation, defining business cases, and leading project governance.
- Identify areas for process improvements and re-engineering, either through one’s own analysis, or consulting with or training of staff so that they can identify opportunities themselves.
- Depending on the project, act as the lead business analyst / project manager, or provide guidelines, constraints and objectives to line staff running their own projects.
- Chair project Steering committees as appropriate and in any case ensure that all projects fit with business strategy and objectives.
- Ensure business requirements and appropriate business cases are gathered and understood by all parties. In particular the role should provide the key link between the technical and business disciplines.
- Act as the change-agent for the projects ensuring that any issues preventing progress are elevated to the appropriate senior managers.
- Be seen as a subject matter expert, and therefore point of call for staff, in the various business analysis and process driven performance measurement tools/approaches.
- Coordinate, monitor, advise and report on (i) staff process improvement ideas scheme, and (ii) consistency of approach in process driven performance measurements techniques used by the various Operations functions.
- Contribute to the Instrument strategy roll-out, identify where there are gaps or risks and proactively work to help the organisation close those gaps.

• Demonstrated achievements in driving continuous change agenda
• Good people management and communication skills
• Able to both manage at high level, and get into detail of problems. Able to provide clear value-add to staff in terms of resolving their immediate issues (for the short-term) and coaching (for the long-term).
