Channel Demand Forecast Analyst Job in Nijmegen, Gelderland Netherlands
For the newly formed Channel Demand Forecasting team we are looking for a Channel Demand Forecast Analyst (CDF-Analyst) to support the Sales Marketing as well as our customers. The CDF-Analyst will work on the border between commerce and logistics.
The person hired into this roll is responsible for the statistical forecasts for the largest retail customers of Logitech. He/she will make statistical analysis of the run-rate forecast, indicate past promotions and support the sales offices in product planning and customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Analytical compilation of statistical forecast by using the Demantra tool
- The translation of the forecast from Sales Out to Sales Through by setting collaborative week on hand targets together with the customer and the account manager.
- Align the forecast between retail customers and sales and marketing and drive for adjustments where required.
- Ensure formal forecast reviews with retail customers and respective KAMs.
- Evaluate statistical forecasting and signal process / tool improvements.
- Integrate market development and product specific information in forecasting activities.
- Carry out historical analysis to improve statistical forecast accuracy.
- Provide guidance to focus on the correct product by creating ABC product analysis on customer level.
- Manage customer specific product life cycle process and information.
Qualifications
- Functional experience with sales support, sales management and account management (min 5-8 years).
- Ability to perform extensive data analytics.
- Strong communication skills (presentation, rhetoric) with senior executive level / customers.
- Conflict management and motivation skills.
- Experiences in forecasting, reporting and analysis tools/databases required (e.g. Oracle Demantra).
- Strong knowlegde of Microsoft office (mainly excel)
- Full command of the English language.
- Proficiency in an additional European language is highly regarded.
