Job Description

Reporting into the Channel Manager you will have overall responsibility for the effective sales management of a defined sales portfolio and budget, with the primary objective of maximizing profitable sales opportunities. You will achieve this through effective sales, service, marketing and relationship management with all external clients. You will be required to maintain and grow established relationships to support the clients in accordance with values and business protocols. Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor reseller activities and identify opportunities to maximize sales
  • Follow through with all client activities within agreed time frames to maintain client service level agreements
  • Manage and monitor overall sales territory and designated sales budgets monthly
  • Maintain and foster harmonious working relationships with key clients and internal team members

The Successful Applicant

You will be a professional account manager with previous experience managing Dealers, Business Partners and Resellers throughout the Printing and Imaging industry. You will be self motivated with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will have a high attention to detail and enjoy presenting to individuals 1 on 1 or in front of a group of people. You must have demonstrated the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment and have strong presentation, problem solving and analytical skills. As-well as above you will have:

  • High level of commitment and a sense of responsibility
  • Track record of Account / Relationship Management experience working with dealers and/or retailers
  • Ability to quickly pick up opportunities and provide a ‘value add’ approach
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver sales results
  • Experience within a similar role will be highly desirable as is experience in IT/Office products
