Channel Marketing Manager Job in Columbia, Maryland US
Job Description
- Interface with channel sales managers and channel partner counterparts to develop and manage channel marketing programs
- Work closely with Director, Channel Marketing to create and implement new channel enablement and lead generation programs
- Manage logistics, personnel and other resources necessary for joint marketing programs and other partner enablement programs
- Coordinate with channel partner counterparts to plan and execute joint marketing events
- Track and report on ROI for channel marketing events and programs
- Coordinate with product marketing team to create and maintain collateral, and other materials to support channel marketing programs
- Interface with external vendors to manage channel partner enablement and fulfillment programs
Required Skills
- High energy person with the ability to thrive in fast paced environment
- Experience managing co-marketing programs executed between a security software manufacturer and software/ hardware VAR partners
- Experience managing market development funds (MDF)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to juggle numerous concurrent assignments
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing
- Minimum of four (4) years marketing experience with either a security software or hardware manufacturer or VAR
- Experience in product marketing and/or marketing communications a plus
- Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
- Frequent travel (up to 30%) possible
