Channel Technical Pre-Sales Engineer. Exceptional ITSEC Vendor

Fantastic opportunity to join flourishing global software vendor specialising in Compliance and Information Security systems and technology. The EMEA business unit is rapidly adding a strong list of reputable Information Security Distributors and resellers (building the channel ) across the EMEA and are looking for an experienced Information Security Sales Engineer / Consultant with experience of channel / partner enablement, onboarding, training and positioning exposure.

You will also be heavily involved in product and technology evangelism, public speaking on and for the partners at their trade shows, training pre and post sales people to enable them to provide end user customers the sales muscle and capability to pitch the solution and put together complex demonstrations / proof of concepts. Maintaining the partner certification via individual accrediations will also be your responsibility. You will also have a hands on Direct Touch responsibility when and where required to support the partner in a sales cycle.

You need to have a good technology background i.e. Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP, Firewalls, IDS / IPS, SIEM etc.

Key experience for this position is a the business / technical mixe involving training partners (distributors and resellers). You also need to demonstrate involvement in devising an effective onboarding strategy to ensure partner success. You will also be the technical go-to person for the channel partners where help is required.

The role is only suited to someone who is highly proactive requiring constant reaching out to the channel engaging and supporting them.

Speaking a European language is beneficial although not mandatory. You will undergo intensive training once you start.
