We are currently looking for a Charge Nurse to work on our LTC unit at our Roslindale campus. This person will utilize the nursing process to provide direct and excellent quality of care to the residents while maintain superb communication between residents, families, and other health professionals. Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to maximize quality of life for residents. Fosters a team like environment while supervising other health care providers in meeting the daily needs of residents.
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 6:45am - 3:15pm
Other responsibilities may include:
1. Giving shift report to on coming staff
2. Provide clinical/supervisory oversight to assigned unit during shift
3. Delegate assignments to team assigned to shift
4. Initiate necessary reports including DPH, incident reports, concern resolutions
5. Assure completion of admission or discharges during shift
6. Attend rounds (wound, physician etc)
Qualifications:
·Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
·Current Massachusetts license as an R.N.
.Experienced nurse who has worked in a long term care /subacute rehab setting.
·Computer literacy required; experience with databases, Windows, Word, Excel, and databases
