The Chargeback Analyst is a position responsible for monitoring and reducing chargeback numbers by managing chargeback disputing processes, forecasting chargeback trends and impacts as well as developing analytical/statistical reports for ongoing monitoring. In addition, working directly with Digital River, Client Marketing Managers (CMMs) and other internal departments to create, implement, and evaluate chargeback reduction and mitigation programs.
Candidates must have a solid technical aptitude and the ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment. You will work closely with Finance, CMMs, various banks and payment processors.
Job Requirements:
- Manage the chargeback automation system ensuring delivery of responses
- Work with developers to implement enhancements and fixes to chargeback automation system
- Create and manage adhoc and canned reporting to monitor and analyze systems, platform and site chargeback performance
- Forecasting chargeback performance through data modeling
- Create and manage reporting to monitor and analyze chargeback recoveries
- Communicate chargeback performance to platform owners and senior management
- Manage risks and issues effectively by resolving or escalating to appropriate individuals
- Collaborate with internal teams and external businesses to drive initiatives
- Identify and define areas of improvement in processes and procedures
- Manage change control process
- Forecasting chargeback performance on the General Ledger
- Reconcile chargeback losses on the General Ledger
- Payment Processor Liaison

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 1-2 years ecommerce or business experience required
- Card not present chargeback knowledge a plus.
