Charities Audit Manager

We are currently working with this Top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants to find them a Charities Audit Manager to join their highly successful team.

The role offers an interesting variety of client work with the vast majority of the portfolio being based in London and the South East, thus requiring very few overnight stays. The firm are able to offer a very supportive working environment where the successful applicant will take charge of an interesting portfolio of client work working on behalf of several Partners, all of whom have enjoy an excellent reputation in the market.

In addition to performing audit duties, there will be involvement in trustee training, strategic reviews, governance, the provision of projections and due diligence work. There will also be considerable involvement in the preparation of client tenders including attending presentations and meetings pertaining to this where necessary.

It is envisaged that the successful applicant will have the desire to work towards Partnership in the firm. However, whilst this will be encouraged and supported, it is not vital!

The successful applicant will have a very strong interest in the Charity and Not for Profit Sector and must currently be working in a role where they carry out some charities audit work, although the firm will consider applications from candidates who are currently working on portfolios where less than half the workload currently comes from the sector. You will be ACA or ACCA qualified and must also be personable and confident with excellent personal presentation.
