Charity Accountant
This is a new position for a Charity Accountant to influence the planning and commercial decision making of senior management within a charity based in Cheltenham.
My client is looking to take this position on based on 1 day a week.
The Charity Accountant will support the CEO in all aspects of the following:
Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
Assist with key strategic decisions and formulate business strategies;
Analyse financial performance and develop business planning forecasts;
Control income and expenditure;
Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers;
Joining a commercial charity based in Cheltenham the Accountant will have visibility to the fantastic work the charity undertakes and provide input to assist in the continued growth and development of the business.
To be considered for the position we are looking for applicants who meet the following criteria:
1) Fully qualified Accountancy qualifications ( ACA/ CIMA or equivalent)
2) Management Accounting experience gained in a charitable organisation.
